Tourney Structure & Rules
2 person teams
1:30 Registration – 2PM Start Time (End time will be later in the evening)
-Minimum 3games per team in round robin play (depending on the number of teams) plus tourney play
-Your round robin results give you your seed for the tourney.
-Tiebreakers (if the same record in round robin play)
-Head-to-head
-If there is still a tie, it will be a coin flip.
-Single elimination tourney after round robin play.
-Tourney play is best of 3 games (first team to win 2 games).
-Games are first team to 21 points (or exceeds); teams do not need to win by 2 points. The current round has to be played out; games cannot finish in the middle of a round.
-3 pts scored for in the hole; 1 point for on the board. Points will cancel each other out in each round.
-Example: Team A has 2 bags on the board (2pts), Team B has one in the hole (3pts); Team B scores 1 point for the round.
-When shooting, feet have to stay behind the front of the board.
-Bags don’t count if they hit the floor first; in such case the bag is to be removed from the board. If that bag strikes another scoring bag that bag is to be moved back to its original scoring position.
-The team that scores points the preceding round shoots first that round; each shot is to be alternated between teams (four shots each per team per round).
-If a bag is shot in a foul (out of turn or over the line) it is to be considered a non-scoring bag (that shooter loses that bag). If that bag strikes another scoring bag that bag is to be moved back to its original scoring position.
